RALLY FOR THE PEOPLE OF GAZA – Friday August 1

4pm to 6:30pm in LOVE PARK – on N. 15th St. between Arch and JFK Blvd.
Hosted by Students for Justice in Palestine Philly

We're going to be back in Center City this Friday, to continue to protest against ongoing Israeli massacre in Gaza. Inshallah the situation will change for the better before Friday, but we'll be there as regardless. We'll be commemorating the over 1,000 Palestinians killed. Please note that the location has changed, we'll be in Love Park. We're also going to try and have some speakers and people recite some poetry, as well as a mass black balloon release to remember the lives that have been lost. In addition, there will be a fundraiser at 1501 Cherry St, one block away from the rally, starting a little bit before the end of the rally, and continuing after. Food will be available there, donated by various halal restaurants in Philadelphia, so you don't have to worry about dinner. We'll post more updates going forward.
