PDSJ is committed to ending the war in Iraq, and bringing the troops home; advancing a progressive agenda at the grassroots level, while supporting progressive candidates for federal, state, and local offices; supporting real election reform; an end to "pay to play"; and preservation of the environment, among other issues."

Members of PDSJ participate in weekly peace vigils in front of the Cherry Hill Mall, and in downtown Woodbury. They also support the peace related activities of other organizations in the Camden/Burlington/Gloucester County area.
